Tattoo After Care
We’ve provided these helpful aftercare instructions to ensure the health of your tattoo. Healing normally occurs within 1 to 2 weeks.
Following these tattoo aftercare instructions will help to ensure its vibrance and quality as it heals. Please avoid exposing it to direct sunlight.
Tattoo After Care
STEP 1
About 4 hours after receiving your tattoo, remove the bandage and do not re-bandage it. In some cases, tattoos are covered with saniderm film and your tattoo artist will instruct you on how long you should keep it on.
STEP 2
Wash hands thoroughly prior to touching your tattoo for any reason.
STEP 3
Using a mild fragrance-free soap, gently wash the tattoo, removing any crust, dirt, or debris and pat dry with a clean cloth or towel. Repeat twice daily, but no more than 3 times as it may dry out your tattoo.
STEP 4
Apply a small amount of ointment to tattoo for the first 4 days. Once the tattoo begins flaking, switch to a fragrance-free, alcohol-free lotion. Apply 2 to 3 times daily in a thin coat. Just enough to make the tattoo appear shiny.
STEP 5
Continue this regiment until the tattoo is fully under the skin.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
I’m booking a few months out right now. But don’t worry! I keep a cancellation list, so if you’ve got specific dates or are in town for a short time, just let me know when you submit your request and I’ll try to fit you in.
-
It’s super easy! Just head to my Booking Page, pick a time that works for you, and make sure to give me the details about your tattoo idea. I’ll get back to you with everything you need to know!
-
Hell yeah! Custom designs are what I live for. If you have a concept or an idea, bring it to me! If you’re not sure yet, take a look at my Tattoo Designs Gallery for some inspo. We can work together to create something totally unique.
-
Tattoo pricing depends on size, detail, placement, and color. Most smaller pieces range from $100+. If you’re thinking bigger (like a sleeve or back piece), I charge $200 an hour. I’ll give you an exact price once we finalize the design.
-
Yep! I offer free consultations, so we can sit down and chat about your ideas. You can book one directly on my Booking Page. I do consultations at 11:30 am—just let me know what day works for you.
-
For big projects (like sleeves, back pieces, etc.), we’ll start with a consultation. I’ll take some photos, maybe do a few tracings, and we’ll go over your references. We’ll map out a plan and figure out how many sessions we’ll need. Don’t forget to bring your ideas with you!
-
Yep! To hold your spot, I ask for a deposit. It’s non-refundable, but it goes toward the price of the tattoo. For smaller pieces, it’s a $100 deposit, and for larger pieces, it’s up to $300.
-
You’ll lose your deposit if:
You cancel within 48 hours of your appointment.
You’re more than 20 minutes late.
You reschedule the same appointment more than three times.
-
Cash is king, but I also take Zelle and credit cards (just a heads up, there’s a 4% fee for card payments).

I work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I usually book appointments for noon and 4 pm.
-
Totally! If they’re smaller tattoos, we can usually fit them into one 4-hour session. But if you’ve got bigger pieces in mind, we’ll need to start at 12 pm. If that's the case, I might need a larger deposit.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give me 48 hours’ notice. If you cancel within 48 hours, you’ll lose your deposit, and a new one will be needed for the next appointment. Same thing if you’re more than 20 minutes late or if you reschedule the same appointment too many times.
-
For sure! Check out my Tattoo Designs Gallery to see some of the stuff I’ve done. I’m always updating it with new designs, so you can get an idea of my style.
-
I usually don’t do walk-ins since I prefer to give each tattoo plenty of time and attention. But if you’re in the area and you’re feeling spontaneous, feel free to stop by and see if I’ve got any last-minute openings!
